The Technical Stuff (Simplified)

But a word of caution:**watch your voltage.**Make sure your lamp and ballast are a perfect match. If you push too much power through the tube, you’ll fry the electrodes, and you’ll be replacing lamps way sooner than you should.

Look, these lamps are powerful, but they runhot. Really hot. You can’t just tuck these into a closed box and hope for the best. You need active cooling. If your exhaust fans quit, the heat builds up, the spectral peak shifts, and suddenly your photoresist isn’t curing the way it should. To avoid those annoying “dark spots” on the edges of your boards, we’ll help you figure out the exact wattage and length based on your PCB width.
